Skrill is one of the most popular funding methods used to transfer money from traders to regulated forex brokers. The service is owned by the FCA-regulated British company Paysafe Group. Interestingly, this company also owns one of Skrill’s competitors, Neteller, which is also accepted by many forex brokers.
Although Skrill is a payment processor that is used by a variety of merchants online, it is particularly popular among regulated forex brokers and traders. The service also offers far cheaper and faster transactions compared to international bank wire transfers, particularly for traders in regions where the latter is prohibitively expensive, such as in Africa.
