Comprehensive review

Just2Trade is a full-service financial brokerage company based out of Cyprus, well known as one of the most popular EU jurisdictions for forex brokers. As always in Cyprus, the broker is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), which in turn is overseen by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).

One of the best things about Just2Trade in our opinion is the very big selection of trading instruments it offers. And unlike many other brokers, this includes not only CFDs and forex pairs, but also actual futures contracts, options, and stocks that can be traded directly from the relevant exchange.

In all, more than 750 single stocks, 500+ exchange traded funds (ETFs), as well as a large number of commodity CFDs, stock indices, currency pairs, bonds, cryptocurrencies, and even stock market IPOs are available through Just2Trade.

When it comes to traditional forex & CFD trading, however, new clients are given the choice between three types of trading accounts to use:
– Forex and CFD Standard Account, with spreads from 0.5 pips and a minimum deposit of USD 100
– Forex ECN Account, with spreads from 0 pips and a minimum deposit of USD 200
– MT5 Global Account, with spreads from 0 pips and a minimum deposit of USD 100

Further, it’s also worth noting that although the broker advertises trading leverage as high as 1:500, the fine print on the website reveals that the default leverage for retail clients is indeed only 1:50. The advertised 1:500 leverage is, in other words, only available to those who qualify as “professionals.”

And while the choice of instruments is great with Just2Trade, the broker also offers access to an impressive number of trading platforms, with five platforms to choose from. As usual, this includes the well-known MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms, but also lesser-known platforms like CQG, ROX, and the crypto-based proprietary platform J2TX.

And since the MetaTrader platforms probably do not need an introduction here, we will skip straight to the other platforms, which we will take a closer look at:

First among them, CQG is a platform that is aimed at the more professional segment of the market than MT4/5 and many other typical retail platforms. The platform focuses on options and futures trading via leading international exchanges, and is offered by Just2Trade for free for the basic desktop-based version.

Secondly, the ROX platform is a trading platform aimed mostly at stock and options trading in the US, Canada, Mexico, and several European countries. The ROX platform is available for a minimum deposit of USD 3,000, and all trades made here are for the actual securities (no CFDs), and thus comes with a commission on all trades.

Third, the J2TX platform is a new project that was started by Just2Trade as an effort to leverage crypto in stock trading. And the platform appears to have been fairly successful in doing so, with a nice interface that seamlessly allows users to first buy the ethereum (ETH) cryptocurrency, and then use the ETH to trade in global stock markets and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, users of the platform who hold the platform's own J2TD Token will also earn certain rewards as stakeholders in what the broker calls the “J2TX Ecosystem.”

When it comes to funding methods for new trading accounts, the choices vary depending on which platform a new user wants to trade on. While users on the J2TX platform can only fund their accounts with Ethereum bought via Visa or MasterCard, forex and CFD traders with the broker have more options available. Among these are all the traditional payment methods such as bank transfer, major credit and debit cards, and e-wallet services like Skrill, Neteller, WebMoney, Qiwi, and many others.

Lastly, we also appreciate that Just2Trade’s customer service is open 24/7, and available via online calls, email, as well as local phone numbers in Cyprus, China, Russia, Poland, and Ukraine.
