Neteller was originally set up in Canada in the late 90’s, but is now owned and operated by the British firm Paysafe Group, which also owns Skrill. The service is popular among both low spread forex brokers and traders, and is widely considered a superior way to fund trading accounts compared to using the traditional methods of international bank wire transfers.
Due to its FCA registration, Neteller is particularly popular among European low spread brokers, although there is also a fair number of offshore-registered low spread forex brokers that accept it. As a result, Neteller is now a widely known online payment platform in the trading community, where it continues to compete alongside other services like PayPal, FasaPay, and VLoad.
