cTrader is a commonly offered trading platform that was brought to the market at around the same time as MT5 came out. Although a fair number of forex brokers globally offer the platform, only a few brokers that are regulated by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) offer cTrader as one of their trading platforms.
The cTrader platform was developed by the Cyprus-based company Spotware to be a fast and reliable forex & CFD trading platform, designed for the consumer market. To this day, some traders consider cTrader’s user interface a step up from that of MetaTrader. In addition to its good design, the platform has become known for its ultra-fast and reliable order execution.
