Description

Registered offshore in Saint Lucia since 2024, PlexyTrade is one of the newest kids on the block among forex brokers. But despite being new, PlexyTrade has a solid offering that remains competitive in most of the areas traders care about.

The most important thing to note about PlexyTrade is that this is a 100% crypto-based broker. This means that the broker supports customer deposits and withdrawals in a range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP) and Tether (USDT), but not in any fiat currencies. Naturally, this may sound great to many of the traders who already hold crypto, but it could definitely be a problem for those who don't own any or who prefer not to use crypto for various reasons.

An impressive aspect of PlexyTrade is the range of trading instruments this broker has to offer. The selection includes more than 45 forex pairs, well over 50 stocks of American blue chip companies, 8 crypto pairs, a handful of the world's largest stock indices, all precious metals, and the most commonly traded energy commodities.

As with most brokers we have reviewed, all of the assets are offered in the form of contracts-for-difference (CFDs).

The instruments offered by PlexyTrade can all be traded on either MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5), the two classic retail trading platforms that were developed by the Russian software firm MetaQuotes. Although the two platforms were released all the way back in 2005 and 2010, respectively, they remain relevant and extremely popular to this day. Much of this is due to the huge user base that has learned the platforms' proprietary coding language, and used it to develop an extensive library of custom trading strategies and indicators.

For traders who want to sign up with PlexyTrade, there are four types of trading accounts to choose from, depending on each individual's trading style and account size:
– Micro Account, with a minimum deposit of $50, spreads from 0.7 pips and no commissions
– Silver Account, with a minimum deposit of $300, spreads from 0.7 pips and no commissions
– Gold Raw Account, with a minimum deposit of $300, spreads from 0 pips and $2 commission per side
– Platinum VIP Account, with a minimum deposit of $10,000, spreads from 0 pips and $1 commission per side

As mentioned in the introduction, trading accounts with PlexyTrade can only be funded with crypto. For withdrawals, an additional method called Confirmo exists. It's worth noting that the minimum withdrawal amount through Confirmo is $15, while $75 or more is needed to withdraw directly in crypto. Per the broker's website, the processing time for deposits is near-instant, while withdrawals could take from 1 to 2 business days to go through.

To get in touch with the broker, clients can use either phone, email or live chat via the website. Sadly, PlexyTrade has not published any information about the working hours for its support team. In most cases, this means that 24 hour support is not available.

PlexyTrade's website is available in English, Spanish and Persian, but there is no information about what languages the support team speaks.

In conclusion, it's clear to us that PlexyTrade has a strong and competitive offering in the world of forex trading on a crypto standard. We appreciate how clean and informative the broker's website is, and we also like that it offers trading accounts tailored to different traders' needs. One thing that would make the broker even better is if it was regulated by a reputable government agency, although we understand that this is difficult for brokers that base their business on crypto deposits and withdrawals.
