Comprehensive review

MH Markets is a multi-jurisdiction forex and CFD broker that has been operating since 2014. The broker has corporate entities registered in Australia, the UAE, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mauritius, and Vanuatu. Among these, Australia is the only traditional “onshore” jurisdiction with restrictions on things like trading leverage. Consequently, Australian residents will be subject to these limitations when trading with MH Markets, including a max leverage of 1:30, while others can access leverage up to 1:2000.

The minimum deposit requirement of $50 makes the MH Markets accessible for beginners, while more experienced traders benefit from low spreads, strong execution, and access to well-established trading platforms.

Trading is offered on MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5), two classic and industry-leading platforms known for stability and algorithmic trading support through so-called Expert Advisors. Despite being launched all the way back in 2005, MT4 continues to attract many retail traders to this day. Meanwhile, its successor MT5, provides more sophisticated order types and enhanced performance for traders with more advanced needs. Both platforms support desktop, mobile, and web access, giving traders flexibility across devices.

Compared to other forex brokers we have reviewed here on FX-List, MH Markets provides a rather small selection of tradable assets. This includes around 30 forex pairs, covering the major and minor forex markets, along with 10 index CFDs linked to leading global stock baskets. Precious metals trading includes gold, silver and platinum, while energy products cover WTI, Brent and natural gas. The inclusion of 10+ stock CFDs focused on well-known U.S. companies adds some exposure to the stock market, although the number of tradable stocks here is far smaller than what many other brokers offer. The selection is, in other words, geared toward traders who focus mainly on forex and key global index CFDs rather than those looking for a more niche market range.

One of MH Markets' notable strengths is its educational section known as MH Academy. This includes a blog with market commentary, trading guides and video tutorials categorized into beginner, intermediate and advanced content. While this material is not unique compared to larger brokers, it still adds credibility and supports users seeking structured learning.

In terms of account types, MH Markets clients can choose between three options, depending on their individual needs:
– Standard account, with a $50 minimum deposit, medium spreads and no commissions
– Prime account, with a $100 minimum deposit, lower spreads and no commissions
– ECN account, with a $1,000 minimum deposit, the lowest spreads, and commission-based trading

Funding at MH Markets is straightforward and traditional, relying on bank wire transfers, credit cards and crypto via the stablecoin Tether (USDT). Like with most brokers, it's important to keep in mind that withdrawals must be made via the same method as the original deposit was made. Deposits and withdrawals are either processed same-day or the next if submitted after business hours.

Overall, MH Markets combines global reach, strong platform support, competitive spreads and the reliability that comes from holding licences in multiple recognised jurisdictions. Although some of its entities operate offshore and the product range is narrower than what some competitors provide, the broker's long history, PAMM/copy-trading services and solid regulatory structure still make it an option worth considering for both beginners and more advanced traders.
