Comprehensive review

FinPros is an offshore forex broker based in the Seychelles and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (SFSA). As most offshore brokers, FinPros offers high trading leverage and a very simple and straightforward sign-up and ID verification process for users.

Worth noting about FinPros and other offshore brokers, however, is that the investor protection it offers is not at the same high level as regular “onshore” brokers in places like Europe or Australia. For instance, funds may be at risk if the broker goes bankrupt or if it is otherwise unable to pay back client deposits, and there is not necessarily a government agency available to help.

In terms of the specific offering, FinPros promotes itself as a broker that lets users “save up to 53% on trading costs and get your trades executed up to 27% faster.” The broker offers very competitive pricing with spreads starting from 0.0 pips on its best account type, the Raw+ account.

In addition to the Raw+ account that offers zero spreads and commissions from $2/lot per side, FinPros offers an Edge account with spreads from 0.4 pips and $0 commission, a Vantage account with spreads from 1.6 pips and $0 commission, and a ClassiQ account with spreads from 1.5 pips and $0 commission.

All trading accounts can be opened in either US dollar, euro, British pound, Canadian dollar, or the stablecoin Tether (USDT).

When it comes to trading instruments, FinPros has covered almost everything a trader could wish for. This includes more than 80 forex pairs, a selection of 12 cryptocurrency pairs, a handful of commodities, as well as the most popular stock indices and hundreds of single stocks listed in the US and Europe.

All of the assets offered by FinPros can be traded on the well-known MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform, which can be downloaded on Windows and Apple computers. In addition, the same platform is also offered in a web-based version for use on any computer with an Internet connection.

MT5 is the successor of the even better-known MT4, and both platforms are known for their extensive libraries of custom technical indicators and trading strategies called Expert Advisors.

To fund a trading account with FinPros, clients can make a bank transfer, use a credit or debit card, or use the e-wallet Perfect Money. Notably, the broker also accepts funding in the form of crypto with Bitcoin or Tether, likely thanks to the lower regulatory standards in offshore jurisdictions like the Seychelles.

For any support needs, the broker can be contacted via email or a Cyprus-registered phone number. Unfortunately, FinPros does not disclose its support team’s working hours, which makes us doubt that 24 hour support is offered here. In summary, we see FinPros as a broker that is worth keeping an eye on, especially for traders interested in stock trading on the MT5 for relatively low fees. As always with offshore brokers, however, it’s important to do proper due diligence beforehand, and only deposit money with completely trustworthy brokers. Unfortunately, as a relatively new broker set up as recently as in 2021, FinPros still does not have a very long track record to show for in this regard.
