ATFX is a forex broker with multiple local branches registered around the world, including in the UK, EU, and various offshore jurisdictions. The broker offers high trading leverage for non-EU clients, a large selection of trading instruments, and the familiar MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform.
ATFX has made a name for itself in the forex broker industry due to the many awards it has received over the years. This includes awards from publications in both Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, with many of them being from the years 2021 and 2022.
Among the most notable awards ATFX has received is the “Most Trusted Forex Broker - MENA” and “Best Institutional Forex Broker” from Global Forex Awards 2022, and “Best Forex Broker Southeast Asia 2022” from International Business Magazine.
Another thing that stands out about ATFX is the strong focus this broker has on trader education. Among other things, the broker offers educational webinars that cover almost any topic imaginable in trading. This comes in addition to online seminars, trading tutorials, and a number of free trading tools, widgets, strategies and technical indicators.
A large part of these free educational resources are only available to clients once they have registered and gotten access to ATFX’s Trading Central.
As a fun sidenote, we can also mention that ATFX in 2023 launched its own NFT (non-fungible token) collection, depicting bulls in ATFX attire. According to the broker’s website, the NFTs will become part of an NFT Loyalty Program set to launch in South East Asia and Latin America, where the digital art pieces will be given out as rewards to loyal users.
The list of instruments that can be traded with ATFX includes all of the popular forex pairs, commodities, stock indices, cryptocurrencies, and shares from US, Garman and French listed companies. All of the assets are traded as CFDs, with leverage going as high as 1:400 for global users and 1:30 for EU-based users.
When signing up with ATFX as a new client, traders from the EU can choose between three types of trading accounts, while those in most other regions of the world have only one option.
For EU-based users, the account types are:
– Standard Account, with a minimum deposit of $500, spreads from 1 pip, and no commissions
– Edge Account, with a minimum deposit of $5,000, spreads from 0.6 pips, and no commissions
– Premium Account, with a minimum deposit of $10,000, spreads from 0.1 pips, and commissions from $25 per side
For global users, the only account type is:
– Standard Account, with a minimum deposit of $50, spreads from 1.8 pips and no commissions
To fund a new trading account, clients can use all of the commonly used payment methods such as Visa, MasterCard, Skrill or Neteller, or make a bank wire transfer. Withdrawals of more than $100 or the equivalent in other currencies are processed free of charge, while withdrawals of lower amounts will be charged $5.
Unfortunately, ATFX does not accept deposits and withdrawals with cryptocurrencies.
To reach ATFX’s customer support, EU-based traders can contact the broker’s UK office by phone or email, while global users can contact global customer support via email or a toll-free 1-800 phone number. Live chat via the broker’s website can also be used to reach support in most cases, but ATFX has unfortunately not disclosed its support team’s working hours.
In conclusion, we should mention again that as a fully regulated broker in the EU, ATFX can be seen as a credible forex broker that is safe to use. We also believe the broker has a pretty good selection of trading instruments on the MT4 platform, although spreads on the most popular instruments ideally should have been a bit lower.
One of the worst broker I ever traded with in Jordan. While you are loosing your money they are excellent. But when I started recovering and gained some profits, they sent me an official letter that I have 2 days to close all my open positions with existing floating loss, otherwise they will close it themselve. They also mentioned that the reason of closing my account is INTERNAL POLICY OF ATFX. I told them I need some time because my floating loss is very big, then again they sent me another letter stating that if I don't close all my trades I will not be able to withdraw my money. So I had no other choice except taking that loss to get the remaining funds back.
