Here we have gathered all brokerage companies in Germany that offer CFDs based on stocks of major companies for trading. Most of these brokers offer at least a few of the largest US-based tech companies like Apple and Amazon, but some also offer major European and Asian companies.
In Germany, all CFD & forex brokers are strictly regulated by both the national financial regulator BaFin and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). Since 2018, ESMA has decided that leverage for stock CFDs must be limited to a maximum of 1:5 for non-professional traders. With such low leverage available for stock CFD traders in Germany, many of these traders have started migrating to offshore forex brokers and brokers regulated in countries like Switzerland and Australia.
